Director of Operations
Central California (must relocate)

continue to serve clients all over the country.
This is a confidential search for Senior level leadership,
potential path for Presidency. This role works directly with
ownership to lead and manage retail and lumber mill operations for
multiple regional locations. They offer competitive comprehensive

Responsibilities:
Accountable for profitable financial performance of assigned
operations including developing vigorous operating budgets for 2-3
locations for retail and lumber building materials.
Alongside Ownership, identify long and short-term opportunities for
capital development and improvements overseeing purchase,
installation and startup of equipment.
Collaborate with managers to ensure implementation of best
practices to enhance overall efficiencies and productivity.
Provide leadership and training to accomplish
goals/objectives/KPI's.
Initiate, investigate, review, and follow up on possible
value-added activities/process improvements/ efficient use of raw
materials that are beneficial to the business.
Consistent, often weekly travel to remote locations via company
plane.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
-7 years of progressive leadership experience in wood products or
lumber industry.
-5 years of successful management experience with emphasis on team
engagement, collaboration and fostering strong partnerships.
- Financial management experience, including budgeting, analysis,
and forecasting.
- Operational leadership with prior success developing effective
operating strategies and effective monitoring systems.
- Evidence of the ability to foster a culture of data driven,
continuously improving, and innovative process design across the
company.
Compensation: $150,000-$180,000/year annual 15-25% bonus
incentive
