JOB SUMMARY: The Compensation internship is designed to provide experience in various aspects of our compensation consulting business. Interns will provide detailed data analysis and input into total rewards consulting projects for both executive and broad-based workforce compensation.

  • Support market pricing in our cloud based data warehousing system
  • Assist with compiling final reports for client projects
  • Conduct excel analysis to support salary structure design and cost impact reporting
  • Pull benefits data and compare to client benefits programs
  • Support executive compensation projects by pulling proxies and 990s off the internet and inputting data into spreadsheets
  • Support niche survey projects in the proprietary survey software by inputting email addresses, sending out reminders, tabulating data
  • Conduct ad-hoc research to support consultants in answering client questions or needs

Required Education, Experience and Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • The successful applicant should be in the process of pursuing a bachelor's degree (Junior or Senior standing) from an accredited university and maintaining 3.0 GPA or higher in a business program or related field.
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Must have strong computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Ability to juggle small projects independently, or larger, or complex projects under Leader's supervision to ensure client deadlines are met.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, strong organization skills, strong written and oral communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
