Overview

The Operations Director will work closely with the Vice President, Strategic Partnerships to proactively identify and address process gaps and areas for improvement. They will implement porcesses and tools to enable successful collaboration with adjacent departments. Help leadership identify priorities, strategically align his/her time with those, and assess progress. Act as a key thought partner, brainstorming & identifying solutions to challenges Manage a variety of long-term, cross-organizational projects.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Excellent analytical skills, preferably with experience in Excel modeling and statistical analysis
  • Excellent research skills with willingness to take creative approaches to finding new and useful information
  • Help VP of Strategic Partnerships identify priorities, strategically align his/her time with those, and revisit them regularly to assess progress
  • Act as a key thought partner, brainstorming & identifying solutions to challenges Manage a variety of long-term, cross-organizational projects
  • Oversee strategic meeting preparation and planning, developing objectives, agenda, and facilitating follow through on action items

Process

  • Work closely with the Vice President, Strategic Partnerships to proactively identify and address process gaps and areas for improvement
  • Implement, document and enforce processes, infrastructure and tools that enable commercial success, smooth collaboration with adjacent departments and clear visibility into department performance
  • Coordinate with Finance, Sales, and other departments to provide meaningful reporting, metrics and analyses that deliver key business
  • Develop processes, safeguards and regular checks to ensure data integrity within CRM
  • Deliver process training and reinforce processes to Team
  • Responsible for company onboarding projects as part of any acquisition as it pertains to third party or partner businesses

Legal

  • Must be able to interpret and understand general contract language
  • Participates in the activities of the contracting function, ensuring that the company's interests and corporate objectives are protected and served
  • As requested, prepares and communicates information regarding contract status, risk, compliance, modifications, deviations, negotiations, and completion or termination
  • Organizes and maintains the partnership contract templates, signed contracts and other legal correspondence and documentation

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in project management, operations, strategy or similar
  • 2+ years in a contract administration or similar role preferred
  • Experience in the K-12 Technology market a plus but not required
  • com CRM experience desired

Analytics

  • Outstanding knowledge of data analysis, reporting and budgeting
  • An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to review and analyze various contract issues with minimal direction
  • Utilize data and metrics to communicate needs with business unit owners
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical agility

Organization

  • Must be highly organized, be able to multi-task, and prioritize numerous deadlines and assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work across the business, assessing business needs, and assisting in decisions as priorities change
  • Immaculate attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency with a "get it done" attitude
