Job Description Job Description We are currently seeking
qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for one of our
clients near Berkeley, CA . This is a Full-time position starting
immediately. . The ideal candidate should hold an active California
state COTA License. Job Role/Responsibilities Provides occupational
therapy services under supervision of an licensed certified O.T and
as identified through the IEP/504 plan. Administers occupational
therapy assessments ( under supervision of an licensed certified
O.T )to determine a student’s level of functioning relative to
their age and educational placement in such areas as fine/gross
motor skill development, sensory motor integration, self-care, and
the activities of daily living. Develops occupational treatment
plans and goals for rehabilitative care to improve student
functional abilities and enhance their ability to learn. Provides
students with individual treatment and group therapy sessions to
correct specific areas of sensory-motor integrative
dysfunction.
