be considered. This contract opportunity is for a Registered Nurse
in a Stepdown unit, providing specialized care for patients
requiring advanced monitoring and support. The role is based in El
Dorado, KS, with potential travel to a nearby medical center known
for its critical care cardiovascular unit. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a
Stepdown or Cardiac Care setting Monitor and manage complex cardiac
patients using advanced equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, and
hypothermia devices Perform critical procedures including heart
catheterizations, cardioversion, central line maintenance, and
medication drip management Collaborate effectively with a
multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes and
continuity of care Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech
EMR system Qualifications & Experience: Current RN license with
experience in Stepdown or Cardiac Care units BLS and ACLS
certifications required; NIH certification preferred Ability to
manage patient ratios approximately 1:2 Strong organizational
skills, positive attitude, and efficiency under pressure Prior
experience with cardiac critical care equipment is highly valued
