Overview: The Registered Nurse II is responsible for delivering
patient care in alignment with our organization's Nursing
Conceptual Framework. This role involves collaboration with
surgical teams and various departments, ensuring patient
confidentiality and professional accountability while adhering to
nursing best practices and necessary certifications such as BLS and
ACLS. The position entails physical demands including lifting and
extended periods of standing, alongside opportunities for

exceptional patient care. The Registered Nurse II is accountable
for the care provided to assigned patients and coordinates with the
surgical team while collaborating with other departments. Upholding

Position Details: Minimum Requirements: Education: Completion of a
nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN). Licensure:
Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the state of
employment or compact licensure, fulfilling all state board of
nursing requirements. Experience: A minimum of six months of
experience in the operating room. Must demonstrate proficiency in
Level I requirements as outlined in policy. Certifications: Basic
Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or
successful completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
Depending on the specific position or unit, additional
certifications may be required within a designated timeframe,
including: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) NRP (Neonatal
Resuscitation Program) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) CPHON (Certified
Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse) OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
BLS (Basic Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work,
And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules C-EFM (Fetal
Monitor Certification) Other unit-specific certifications as
necessary Physical Requirements: • Ability to regularly push, pull,
and/or lift up to 50 lbs. • Prolonged standing and walking are
required during each shift. • Capability to grip, reach, bend,
