Job Description American Consultants is seeking a travel nurse
RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in El Dorado,
Kansas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and
Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift:
12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are seeking an
experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week contract assignment,
open to both local nurses and travel RNs. The ideal candidate is
skilled in caring for laboring patients, supporting deliveries, and
working in a fast-paced, high-acuity L&D unit. Responsibilities
Provide nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate
postpartum Monitor fetal heart tones, contractions, and maternal
vitals Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and high-risk
patients Triage obstetric patients as needed Collaborate with
physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams Educate and
support patients and their families Maintain accurate, timely
documentation Respond to obstetric emergencies and follow unit
protocols Requirements Active RN license. Minimum 1–2 years of
recent Labor & Delivery experience and Travel experience. Current
BLS and NRP certifications AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced strongly
preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a
fast-paced L&D unit Contract Benefits Competitive weekly pay
