Job Description:

Mercy Medical Group (MMG) , a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time Board Certified OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Incoming physicians would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom ~ Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year ~ Join a growing program which will consist of 3 dedicated Ob Hospitalists and support from a large pool of clinic based doctors in the program ~24 hour back-up Ob on-call. ~ Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts. ~ Five 12 hour back-up shifts a month required (home call). Additional compensation provided for back-up shifts. ~ Additional compensation provided for holidays and doing additional shifts. ~ Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center ~ Sign on bonus and moving bonus available for full time applicants ~ Board-Certified in OB/Gyn (ABMS or AOA) Active California medical license (or ability to obtain) Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is a dynamic, growing organization with a long-standing history of providing exceptional medical care in the Sacramento area.
