Secure Nursing Service LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor
and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Grass Valley, California.
Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery

per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Duties
Monitor the health status of mothers and newborns during labor and
delivery. Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring proper
dosage and timing. Provide education and support to patients and
their families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Assist in the development of individualized care plans for each
patient. Perform necessary medical procedures related to labor and
delivery, including fetal monitoring. Collaborate with physicians,
midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal
patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records using
electronic health systems such as Athenahealth. Respond promptly to
emergencies, utilizing basic life support techniques when
necessary. Requirements Current nursing license with specialization
in Labor and Delivery or related field. Proficiency in medication
administration and understanding of trauma medicine practices.
Experience working in a teaching hospital or outpatient settings is
preferred. Knowledge of internal medicine principles as they relate
to obstetric care. Familiarity with caring for patients with
developmental disabilities or geriatrics is a plus. Strong
communication skills with the ability to educate patients
effectively. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining
