It is a great time to be part of the welding industry! Are you ready? Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Welder to join our team. Under general supervision, the ideal candidate will perform a variety of skilled mechanical tasks. Job tasks include fabricating, assembling, and repairing custom machines, and other duties as assigned. Job Duties and Responsibilities Build and test equipment, tools, and fixtures using mechanical assembly and fabrication skills Operate industrial equipment including forklifts and production support equipment (training available) Read and interpret drawings and work instructions Complete assigned documentation Education and Experience Must have high school diploma or equivalent Must have 1 to 3 years fabrication experience Uncompromising attitude toward safety, quality, and customer service Understand blueprints and work instructions Must be well-organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong working knowledge of basic hand tools Working knowledge of electrical components Able to complete basic mechanical troubleshooting Working knowledge of layout tools and application (tape measure, square, calipers) Ability to work Saturdays and overtime, when necessary Working Conditions Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, changing temperatures, and machinery with moving parts. Must be physically able push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, reach, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and stand on concrete.
