Description/Preferred Qualifications Responsibilities:
- Design subsystems for precision-motion platforms used in wafer
inspection machines. Complete design process including
requirements, scheduling, design, analysis, prototype testing, and
BOM structure.
- Conduct various analyses and simulations, such as thermal,
vibration and FEA modeling, and will also perform solid modeling
design using Pro/E and generate detailed drawings, design review
presentations, procurement of prototype parts.
- Drive system integration, prototype testing, and handoff to
manufacturing.
- Collaborate with other engineering groups such as Systems
Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure seamless
integration at the system level
- During prototype testing, be the expert in servo control,
Firmware, and SW Engineers to resolve any issues and optimize
performance.Qualifications:
- Motion Control and Servo System Design
- Signal processing and analysis using Matlab and Python
- Experience in simulations and system dynamics (Simulink)
- Experience in vibration analysis.
- Design experience of positioning systems
- Solid modeling and structural analysis FEA, preferably
ProE
- Implementation of high-resolution feedback sensors
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet
metal
- Background in semiconductor design equipment
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience with writing requirements and test plans
- Ownership and leadership skillsMinimum QualificationsDoctorate
(Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's
Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's
Level Degree and related work experience of 5 yearsThe company
